Interactive + User Interface
While learning CoronaSDK, a mobile app development framework, I was tasked with designing and building an iPad game. I thought it would be fun to take my own spin on the classic game that started it all, Asteroids!
I added several additional features which included realistic cracking asteroids, shields, weapon power-ups, health packs, and other special abilities that could be earned by the player. Additionally it gave me an opportunity to explore user interface considerations within a gaming environment — such as essential access to critical controls and navigational elements.
