Based off of a Pet Excursion company in Phoenix, I built its brand identity from the ground up. Through research into the companies’ target audience and competition I developed a strategic design plan and feature comparison chart that helped me form a unique brand message that would set ourselves apart from others in the industry.
You don’t get a second chance to make the right impression — so I worked on the UI/UX of the signup and appointment scheduling flow, as well as created a first time welcome kit that new customers would receive. This included a custom made multi-panel box, 3 handmade die-cut food sampler packages, custom stickers, magnets, leash, treats menu, dog tags, ball, membership card, and community event flier. After several rounds of brand explorations I settled on a final logo, and outlined clear use cases, exclusion zones, and a harmonic color palette.
I chose to use Pluto Condensed for it’s informal and friendly first sight. Then coupled that with Brandon Grotesque for our body copy as it’s geometric forms have been optically corrected for high legibility. Taking a chance on the packaging, I decided to add a third font, Reforma Grotesk for its slender condensed uppercase look.View Site
