In wanting to add a different perspective to my portfolio, I chose to develop an eye-catching ad piece for an industrial line of trailer mounted diesel generators. This digital imaging piece not only grabs the attention of the viewer, but suggests the incredible power provided by the MQ Power line of products.
The background desert scene began as a panoramic image of stitched photographs. The alien spacecraft is a compilation of three different small-scale models—taking the best from each. Various other elements such as the smoke effects were photographed at a later date and then composited together to produce the final visual.
