The Story

My goal with this project was to assemble various quotes from political leaders. Then, through the use of a single typeface, Gotham, and various design principals such as shape, weight, style, position, tension, etc; I strived to reflect the characteristics, mood, and theme of what was being said in each.

I then turned my attention towards building a form, or book that would hold these quotes. I figured, what better way than creating a file folder—since the political world revolves around paperwork, and their carriers.

Exhibited in the 2011 Academy of Art University Spring Show.
